Obituary for Mary J Grano
Funeral services for Mary J. (nee Sabruno) Grano, 95, of Concord Township, will be 10 a.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mrs. Grano passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at Mentor Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor.
Born March 17, 1920, in Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for 35 years, living in Mentor before moving to Concord Township.
Mary was an excellent cook, loved to bake and enjoyed crocheting. Family was always first with Mary.
She was the loving mother of Donna M. (Blake) Leduc and Susan A, Marion; mother-in-law of Pete Bora; cherished grandmother of 10; great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Clara J. Bora; grandson, Michael Storm; parents, Anthony and Jennie (nee Mangino) Sabruno; and siblings, Frank Sabruno, Mike Sabruno, Carmella Kesegich, John Sabruno and Albert Sabruno.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
