Joanne A  D'Arcy
Funeral Mass for Joanne A. (nee Brick) D’Arcy, 80, of Willoughby Hills, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Jerome’s Church, 15000 Lake Shore Blvd., Cleveland.
Mrs. D’Arcy passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Jan. 21, 1935, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland before moving to Willoughby Hills nine years ago.
Joanne was a member of St. Jerome’s Church in Cleveland, and loved spending time with her family, kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed working.
She was the loving mother of Lauri (Robert) Davidson, Ray (Debbie) D’Arcy, Douglas D’Arcy, John (Peggy) D’Arcy, Matthew (Beth) D’Arcy, and Linda Hanratty; cherished grandmother of Kevin, Christopher, Daniel, Ray Jr., Kristina (Kelvin Burns), Amanda, Adam, Amber (Sean McIntyre), Cynthia (Kevin Laznik), David Sr., Shannon, Brian, John (Erin), Ryan, Mike and Jane; great-grandmother of J.J., Kay’a, Kelvin Jr., Jameson, Lyliana, Mikenna and David Jr.; sister of Marilyn (Dale) Monroe; sister-in-law of Frank (Jacqueline) Darcy; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo P. D’Arcy; daughter, LeeAnn (Bill) D’Arcy Hvizdak; sons, David and James D’Arcy; parents, John and Anna (nee Kralicek) Brichacek; brothers, George and Joseph Brick; and sister-in-law, Lucille Brick.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family suggests contributions be made to Poor Clares, 3900 13th St. N.E., Washington, DC 20017, or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
