Obituary for Dorothy A McCreary (Sanzobrino)

Funeral Mass for Dorothy A. (nee Sanzobrino) McCreary, 95, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Timothy Kalista will officiate the Mass.
Mrs. McCreary passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Emeritus of Mentor.
Born June 22, 1920, in Willoughby, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County living in Mentor.
She enjoyed making her world famous chocolate chip cookies and rolling meatballs, working in her yard and tending to her roses.
She was the loving mother of Timothy S. (Patricia) McCreary, Kevin F. (Jerrie) McCreary, and Maureen M. Carter; mother-in-law of Carol McCreary; cherished grandmother of Sean (Kate) McCreary, Vince (Holly) Hulsman, Michelle (Matthew) Twitchell, Colleen (Michael) Nowicki, Kim Forrai and Donovan Forrai; and great-grandmother of Declan, Clair, Sid, Reeve, Mason, Reece and Riley.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald F. McCreary in 1998; son, Terrence S. McCreary; and parents, Thomas A. and Theresa (nee Vitrano) Sanzobrino.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Dorothy’s name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
