Obituary for Elaine Mary Bohr
Graveside services for Elaine Mary Bohr, 61, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.)
Mrs. Bohr passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 27, 1954, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 33 years, living in Mentor.
She was a volunteer for many years at the Lake County Humane Society and enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. Elaine was a loving and caring mom.
She was the loving mother of Nicholas J. Bohr Jr. of Mentor; sister of Patricia (Chris) Peters and Susan Waedekin; and aunt of Sarah Pape, Carolyn Peters and Michelle Peters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin F. and Dorothy E. (nee Mugg) Sutherin.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Inurnment will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
Donations in her name are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
