Patricia A.  Cornacchione (Moughtin)
Funeral Mass for Patricia A. Cornacchione (nee Moughtin), 80, of Wickliffe, will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Father John Sullivan will officiate at the Mass.
Mrs. Cornacchione passed away July 1, 2015 at her residence after battling cancer for four years.
Born June 26, 1935, in Cleveland, she was a Lake County resident for over 60 years, living in
Willoughby and Wickliffe.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church; a founding member of The Breakfast Club
where friends met at least once a month; a Girl Scout leader; and Den Mother for her two sons. She
enjoyed hiking and hiked every Tuesday up until she was too weak to do so. Her home was always open to everyone and was a mother and grandmother to many. Patricia tried research treatment in an effort to help others with the same disease.
Patricia was a business owner of two hair salons known as “Future Directions Hair Salon” for almost four decades. Her employees became part of her family. She was retired.
She was the loving mother of Anthony “Skip” (Patty) Cornacchione of Hollywood, Fla., Dennis M. Cornacchione of Willowick, Cheryl L. (James) Devor of Wickliffe and Dana A. Cornacchione of Wickliffe;
cherished grandmother of Douglas (Carolyn), Devin, Cody, Katelyn, Dylan, Tyler and Arianna; aunt of nieces and nephews; and she also leaves her little princess, “Petunia”.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony A. “Tony” Cornacchione in 2013; granddaughter, Amber; parents, Douglas and Bernadette “Dolly” (nee Culliton) Moughtin; and sister, Donna Rae Sak.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
In addition to flowers, the family suggest contributions in her name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland OH 44110.
