Obituary for Raymond Edward Sebring

Memorial Mass for Raymond Edward Sebring, 83, of Willoughby, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. Sebring passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born Feb. 8, 1932, in Cleveland, and had been a resident of Lake County for 60 years, living in Eastlake before moving to Willoughby.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, V.F.W. Post 1500 in Willoughby, and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Sebring was a former employee of National Acme, where he worked for 19 years and the Northern Ohio Food Terminal where he was employed for 25 years.
He was the beloved husband, Margaret Anne (nee Gallagher) Sebring; loving father of Raymond (Rose) Sebring of Painesville, RaeAnn (John) Whited of Eastlake, Diane (Walt) Michalski of Painesville Township and John Stephen Sebring of Willoughby; cherished grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of 10; brother-in-law of Robert (Julia) Gallagher of Wickliffe and William Gallagher of Lubbock, Texas; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth J. and Otillia (nee Sprenger) Sebring; brothers, Ken and Ron Sebring; and sister-in-law, Betty Gallagher.
Family will receive friends from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
