John Vincent  Vunovich
Funeral Mass for John Vunovich, 58, of Sagamore Hills, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield.
Mr. Vunovich passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 22, 1956, in Greensburg, Pa., he had lived in Willoughby before moving to Summit County 10 years ago, living in Sagamore Hills.
Mr. Vunovich was an avid golfer and craftsman.
He was the beloved husband of Cindy (nee Schultz) Vunovich of Sagamore Hills, loving father of Johnny (Ally Parry) Vunovich of Willoughby and Jess (Rick) Scheeser of Broadview Heights; grandfather of Baby Scheeser; son of John “Pap” Vunovich; brother of Dave Harris and Jackie (Nick) Nokovich); son-in-law of Sally Schultz; brother-in-law of Laurie (Michael) Morgart and Tammy (Mike) Fuchs; and uncle and great-uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Vunovich; and father-in-law, Bob Schultz.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
