Obituary for Joyce Ann Dickerson (Good)

Funeral services for Joyce Ann (nee Good) Dickerson, 77, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mrs. Dickerson passed away June 3, 2015, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
She was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Pikeville, Ky., she had been a Lake County resident for the past 49 years, living in Mentor.
Joyce was incredibly protective of her family. She would do anything for her family. In addition to being feisty, she had a heart of gold that melted when she was around her grandchildren. She was the happiest when she was around them and loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She was genuine in everything and wasn’t afraid to speak the truth no matter what.
A special thanks to her sister Janet, for loving her and caring for her during her last days on this Earth.
She was the loving mother of Leisa J. Mitchell, Lori E. Cannon and Ray V. (Jill) Dickerson; grandmother of April, Shannon, Michael, Aaron, Matthew, Taylor, Michelle and Joshua; sister of Jeanette Zickefoose, Janet Bergan and Ron Good; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beulah Good and siblings, Ben Good and Carol Beres.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
