Funeral Mass for Mary R. (nee Smith) Dever, 88, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ss. Robert and William Parish, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid.
Mrs. Dever passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born July 6, 1926, in Uniontown, Pa., she had been a resident of Euclid for more than 50 years.
Gentile, loving and happy are what best describes her life. Mary was a member of Ss. Robert and William Parish in Euclid. She loved her dogs and was an animal lover.
She was the dearest mother of Deborah McDonough, Mary (Steve) Legerski and Jack (Jennifer) Dever; cherished grandmother of Jim (Kelly), John, Katie, Aly and Jack Jr.; and great-grandmother of Ewan and twins, Brock and Desmond.
She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband, John Tishue; beloved second husband, Clement Dever; son-in-law, Jim McDonough; parents, Dr. R. Abbott and Rose (nee Gallagher) Smith; and siblings,John Craven Smith and Joseph Russell (Peg) Smith.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
