Obituary for Patricia A Hughes (Manning)

Funeral services for Patricia A. (nee Manning) Hughes, 74, of Eastlake, will be 11 a.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Stephen Kaminski will officiate.
Mrs. Hughes passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born March 4, 1941, in Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for the past 49 years, living in Wickliffe for three years before moving to Eastlake 46 years ago.
Pat was a member of Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300 Ladies Auxiliary and Palmer-Roberts American Legion Auxiliary Unit 214 in Willoughby. She was a “Mom,” who raised everybody’s kids.
She was the loving mother of Brian M. (Melissa) Hughes of Painesville Township, Patrick J. “P.J.” Hughes of Eastlake, Kelly Ann (Frank) Dickinson of Painesville and Christopher S. Hughes of Eastlake; cherished grandmother of Spenser, Sutten, Francis Dickinson, and Olivia Dickinson; sister of Jeannette Manning, Rita Manning, Ruth Manning, Coletta (John) DiCello, Rosemary Manning, Kathleen Manning, Frank Manning and Richard Manning; sister-in-law of Pat Manning and Carol Manning; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her faithful companion, Eleanor.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald E. Hughes in 1999; grandson, Shane; parents, Francis P. and Ruth (nee O’Connor) Manning; sister, Mary Ellen Friend; and brothers, Donald Manning and Gene Manning.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
