Obituary for William Potocar

Funeral Mass for William Potocar, 80, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. Potocar passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born May 31, 1934, in Euclid.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived for his children.
He was the beloved husband of 31 years to Gayle A. (nee Prebel) Potocar; loving father of Robert B. (Simona) Potocar, Kelly Marie (Adam) Penzenik, William Patrick (Allyson) Potocar, Michael Phillip Potocar and William Joseph Potocar; cherished grandfather of Olivia, Scarlett, Gavin and Weston; and brother of Carol Potocar, Daniel Potocar, Robert (Diane) Potocar and Mary Ann Potocar.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elisa Marie Potocar; parents, William and Louise (nee Murn) Potocar; and sister-in-law, Ann Potocar.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
