Obituary for Lena Christine Camplese

Lena Christine Camplese, 52, of Mentor, passed away Nov. 24, 2017, at The Cleveland Clinic after a long courageous battle with Cancer.
Born Sept. 7, 1965, in Welch, W.Va., and had lived in Mentor for the past six years.
Lena attended Harbor High School in Ashtabula, and completed her education with a GED and some college coursework.
She had worked all of her life, working at the Country Club Retirement Campus for a few years, and Allpass in Ashtabula. As a long-standing resident of Ashtabula, Lena learned to know many people, and many people have been touched by her love and compassion for others.
Lena left behind her friend, Nick Lyons; her closest friends,
Bill and Annie Johnsons; son, Timothy (Grace) Catron; four grandsons; brother, Burgess (Judy) Catron; sisters, Sandra Catron Pasanen and Teresa Catron; nephews and nieces; great-nephew and great-nieces; and in-laws, Bill (Debbie Camplese) Schiedel, Guido and Julia Camplese, Jeff Camplese, Brian (Vickie Camplese) Titman, Ray (Dodie Camplese) Mattson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Camplese; parents, Claude and Zelpha (nee Sweeney) Catron; brother, Barry Catron; nephews, Justin Snyder, Jamie Duva, and Barry Raymond Catron; and niece, Amanda Catron.
A celebration of life servive will be announced on a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
