Zlatko “Bacho” “Z” Markanovic, 68, of Willoughby, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
He was born February 14, 1955, in Vukovar, Croatia.
Zlatko enjoyed playing cards and loved riding his motorcycle. He was a friend to everyone and he lived life to the fullest.
Zlatko was the husband of Nancy (nee Stark) Markanovic; loving father of Adam C. Markanovic of New York, Trevor A. Markanovic of New York, and Tomislav (Jelka) Grsic of Croatia; dearest grandfather of Marija; brother of Angela (Peter) Barac, Janja Skrtic and Vera (Marko) Jozic; dear friend of Darlene Prendergast; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ante and Ana (nee Andric) Markanovic; and brother-in-law, Dragan Skrtic.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2) in Mentor, with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
