Obituary for William C Tilk
William C. Tilk, 79, of Euclid, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at his son’s residence in Concord Township.
Born Sept. 18, 1941, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland Heights before moving to Euclid 30 years ago.
William was a member of St. John of the Cross in Euclid, and former member of the Eagles. His family was his top priority and he loved to play Pinochle.
He was the loving father of William C. (Alisa) Tilk II; cherished grandfather of Alicyn, Nicholas, Sydney, and Alexander Tilk and Brandon Busby; brother of Charles (Roberta) Tilk and Robert (Hope) Tilk; and uncle of nieces and a nephew.
William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna L. (nee Sanders) Tilk in 2020; son, Mark S. Tilk; and parents, William G. Jr. and Carmelina (nee Provenga) Tilk.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
