William J. Snyder, 56, of Maple Heights, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at his residence.
Born Jan. 18, 1966, in Cleveland he had been a resident of Lake County for 20 years, living in Eastlake and Mentor-on-the-Lake before moving to Maple Heights.
William was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was the former husband of Galina Snyder; loving father of Max M. Snyder; dear brother of Robin L. Novak and Debra E. (Edward) Gurecki; brother-in-law of Barbara Snyder-Carson; stepson of Linda Snyder; stepbrother of Ben (Belinda) Sweeney; stepsister-in-law, Sherry Sweeney; and uncle and great-uncle of many.
William was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Snyder; mother, Mary Ellen (nee Muehlheim) Sweeney; stepfather, Norm Sweeney; brother, Robert D. Snyder; brother-in-law, Robert L. Novak; stepbrother, David Sweeney.
Family will received friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m.
