Obituary for Vincent Americo Iavarone
Vincent Americo Iavarone, 69, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Aug. 25, 1953, in Erie, Pa., he had lived in Chesterland before moving to Lake County 27 years ago.
Vincent was a member of the Crooked Creek Gun Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, building model ships and airplanes, NASCAR, anything “Christmas,” and Charles Dickens Villages. He loved his family, especially going to his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Janet (nee Emerson) Iavarone; loving father of James A. (Lisa) Iavarone and Christopher M. (Stephanie) Iavarone; and cherished "Papa" of Corey, Gavin (Gabby), Domonic, Nathan and Luca.
Vincent was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Anthony Iavarone; and parents, Vincent A. Sr. and Jean (nee Chessario) Iavarone.
Services will be held at a later date.
