Obituary for Thomas E Kelley

Thomas E. Kelley, 63, of Painesville Township, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, unexpectedly during work at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
He was born March 6, 1959, in Cleveland.
Tom was a much loved family member and friend. He had a beautiful smile, a great personality, and was always the life of the party. In addition to his jovial disposition, Tom was a hard worker and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. He loved to travel and had a passion for cooking.
Tom had worked for more than 40 years as a boiler operator/maintenance man in hospitals in Ohio, Virginia and Tennessee.
Survivors include his sons, Steve and Jason; grandchildren Michelle, Makenzie, Jason Jr., and Joe; three great-grandchildren, mother, Norma J. (Robert) Rhodes; sister, Deborah (David) Waclawski; nephew, Evan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his son, Don; father, Donald E. Kelley; and grandparents, Hayden and Ruby “Verta” Johnson, Clyde and Freddie Kelley.
He will be forever missed by the many who loved him.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Jonesville, Va.
