Obituary for Taylor Christine Strauss

Taylor Christine Strauss, 26, passed away as a result of a tragic car accident in the afternoon of May 14, 2021, at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born May 11, 1995, in Mayfield Heights.
Taylor was a gifted athlete and a passionate snowboarder, whose laughter and personality could light up any room. Taylor was a 2013 graduate of Riverside High School in Painesville and went on to attend Ohio University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Taylor had a knack for technology, which was a talent that she carried into her professional career. In her free time, Taylor loved to travel all over the country and made it her life goal to see the world. She loved hiking the trails of our local, state, and national parks. She had a love of animals and pursued that passion through membership of 4-H Reins and Ribbons, the Ohio University Equestrian Team, and as a local dog walker and pet sitter.
Taylor was the loving daughter of Todd and Tina (nee Longstreet) Strauss; beloved sister of Alayna and Gavin; granddaughter of Ronald and Doris (nee Kitt) Longstreet, Rosemary Strauss; niece of Jennifer (nee Longstreet) Schwarzwalder, Ronald (Patty) Strauss, and Beth (Ron) Martucci; dear cousin and friend of many; and above all, a fierce lover of dogs and horses. “We love you Taylor.”
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rudy Strauss.
