Obituary for Susan M Brodzinski

Susan M. Brodzinski, 68, passed away June 6, 2021 at Hospice of Western Reserve in Cleveland, after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.
She was born March 31, 1953, in Cleveland.
Susan was recently retired from Preformed Line Products after many years of service. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family and gardening. Even during her fight, she still made sure to maintain her garden. She loved her bird feeders too, attracting many different species of birds into her beloved garden.
Susan was the “glue” that held her family together. She would host all family gatherings at her house, making home cooked meals for everyone.
Susan is survived by her siblings, Jerry (Karen) Brodzinski, Karen Harris, and Tom Brodzinski; nephews and nieces, Brian (Kristen), Eric, Nick (Courtney), Molly, Max, and Julia; great-nephews, Cameron (Eric) and Bence (Nick); and her favorite “bad boy” dog, Winston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Rose (nee Rubin) Brodzinski.
Susan will be greatly missed. Her strength and will to fight until the very end is inspiring to many.
“We pray for all those fighting this horrible disease. We pray for their families, for strength, and courage to walk this journey with them. And, we pray that someday, there will be a cure.”
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby, where a Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
The family suggests donations in her name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
