Obituary for Sophie J "Judy" Kafer
Sophie "Judy" (nee Sumrada) Kafer, 96, of Willoughby Hills, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, in Willoughby.
Born April 25, 1924, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 66 years.
Sophie was a member of the S.N.P.J. Lodge 126. She loved animals and enjoyed going out with her friends on various outings.
She was the loving mother of Judy A. Kafer; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose (nee Tanzely) Sumrada; and siblings, Chuck (Helen) Sumrada, Rose Scherbak and Pat (George) Dobrich.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
