Obituary for Sandra L Knight
Sandra L. (Baumgardner) Knight, 63, of Eastlake, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 11, 1958, in Boone, N.C., she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 60 years.
Sandy has such a love for music that she passed onto her kids and grandkids. It was a common thing for “GG” to turn on the tunes and have a dance party with her loves. She loved spending time with her “Hunny Bunny,” grandchildren, and kids.
She was the beloved wife of 32 years to John D. Knight; loving mother of Amber L. (Josh) Ruland and Lindsey R. (Bob) Kirchner; cherished grandmother of Haleigh, Zarielle, Rowan, Caiden and Liam; dear daughter of Mary (nee Edmisten) Baumgardner; sister of Steve Edmisten, Sharon Rolland, Johnny Baumgardner and Jerry Baumgardner; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Baumgardner; and sister, Debby (Glen, dec.) Horne.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
