Obituary for Salvatore A Iamarino

Salvatore A. Iamarino, 89, of Wickliffe, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born March 4, 1931, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 54 years.
Salvatore loved playing golf, drinking coffee with his buddies, and enjoyed racquetball and being able to meditate.
He was the former husband of Betty; loving father of Sandra L. (Gary) Polzer, Christina M. (Larry) Dawson and Susan M. (John) Loparo; cherished grandfather of Tracy (Shane), Johnny (Jennifer), Gayla (fiancé, Tim), Lisa (Ryan), Vincent (Stephanie), and Dawn (Aaron); great-grandfather of Mya, Jack, Sal, Gavin, Sophia, Gianna, Mason, Dominic, Luciana, Antoinetta, Ethan, Laney, Bubba (Margaret), Demi, Josh, Nathan and Dylan; great-great-grandfather of Taylor and Emily; brother of Nikki Barbato (Mike); and uncle of John and Pam (Len).
Salvatore was preceded in death by his parents, Saverio and Josephine (nee Ciciretti) Iamarino; brother, Butchie; and grandsons, Devin and Dale.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
