Obituary for Sally A Engert

Funeral Mass for Sally A. (nee Coyne) Engert, 82, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Father Steve Breck will officiate.
Sally passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Born April 16, 1938, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 60 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick, enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking, and loved to dance, listen to music, and play bingo with her sisters. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Sally was the beloved wife of Robert L. Engert; loving mother of Nancy J. (Paul) Teknipp, Carole A. Ingraham, Judy L. O’Neill, Robert L. (Patricia) Engert Jr., and Joni M. Engert; cherished grandmother of Nicole (Andrew) Plavny, Michael (Sarah) Baucco, Daniel Baucco (Caitlin Ruza), Joseph (Mikaela) Baucco, Elizabeth (Michael) Hannold, Ashley (Adam) Meeker, Jason (Dee) O’Neill, Benjamin (Erin) O’Neill, Sarah (Matthew) Vanooyen, Lewis O’Neill, Melissa Engert, Andrew Engert, Daniel Engert, Chadwick (Zeljka) Chabail, Jessica (Oliver) Katila, and Joseph Chabail (Mrunmayee Kadam); great-grandmother of Lilliana Baucco, Jameson Baucco, Brantley Baucco, Emma Plavny, Avery Plavny, Josie Plavny, Alexis Hannold, Aubrie Hannold, Liam Meeker, Ryker Meeker, Elliot Meeker, Karleigh Meeker, Leigh O’Neill, Peyton O’Neill, Anders Chabail, Keagan Katila and Asher Katila; sister of Rose Frost, David Coyne, Martin (Patricia) Coyne, Maureen (Adam) Rosciszewski, and John “Jack” Coyne; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Isabella (nee Henderson) Coyne; son-in-law, Lewis O’Neill; siblings, Patrick (Theresa, dec.) Coyne, Thomas (Holly, dec.) Coyne, and Margaret (George, dec.) Valente; sisters-in-law, Erna Coyne and Margie Coyne; and brother-in-law, Harry “Bud” Frost.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
