Obituary for Roseann Michelle Gardner
Funeral Mass for Roseann Michelle (nee Cavallaro) Gardner, 65, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Roseann passed away peacefully April 5, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 16, 1956, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 65 years.
Roseann was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, where she had been a former PSR aide. She was also very active and in the PTA at Dale R. Rice Elementary School, enjoyed sewing and loved her family dearly.
She was the beloved daughter of Joseph Anthony Cavallaro; loving mother of Carrie (Carl) Calabrese, Dana Gardner (Tom Amato), Jamie (Adam) Schura, Cody (Codi Mae, nee Smith) Gardner, Brittany (Josh) Zivcic, and Mackenzie Gardner; cherished grandmother of Brock, Coltin, Braydon and Coby Calabrese, Christopher Amato, Jack Schura, Madison and Emma Zivcic, and Adrianna Gardner; and dear aunt of Christina Cavallaro.
Roseann was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy (nee Amantea) Cavallaro; and brothers, Joseph and Gary Cavallaro.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will follow the Mass at Mentor Cemetery.
