Obituary for Robert J "Bob" White

Funeral Mass for Robert J. “Bob” White, 88, of Willoughby, will 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. White passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care Center in Kirtland.
He was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Cleveland.
Bob was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was also an avid golfer, loyal Cleveland Browns fan, and a longtime member of the Willowick Golf League and Collinwood Memories.
Mr. White had worked as a plasterman as a member of Union Local 80, and retired from the City of Euclid, where he had worked at the Water Treatment Plant.
Bob was the beloved husband of 67 years to Nettie (nee Gambatese) White; loving father of Ronald (Lorraine) White and Debbie White; cherished grandfather of Robert (Jennifer) White and Andrea White; great-grandfather of Michael White and Carmen White; twin brother of Richard (Carol) White; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Angela (nee Skulic) White.
Burial with military honors will be held at All Souls Cemetery following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
