Obituary for Robert Lee Walker

"Together Again"
Private services will be held for Robert Lee Walker, 83, of Mentor.
Mr. Walker passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, after a short illness.
Born Jan. 23, 1938, in Rivesville, W.Va., he had been a resident of Lake County for more than 70 years.
Robert was pretty much a homebody. Mr. Walker had worked for Lubrizol Corporation for 18 years as a maintenance mechanic. Previously, he had worked many years at Precision Fabricating in Wickliffe.
He was the loving father of Robert Walker of Mentor, Brian Walker of Mentor, and Wendy (Tim) Jones of Alabama; cherished grandfather of Gerald Spradlin of Painesville, Justin (Sammy) Walker of Chardon, Randy (Allison) Casstevens of Mentor, Rick (Annie) Walker of Mentor, Brandon Walker of Willoughby, Jeremy Walker of Mentor, Cory Walker of Willoughby, Sierra Spradlin of Painesville and Stella Walker of Mentor; and great-grandfather of Aedyn Walker, Carter Casstevens, Freddy Walker, Camden Casstevens, Tyler Newton and Hailey Newton.
Robert was preceded in death by the love of his life of 56 years, Nancy (nee Lawson) Walker, whom he married Nov. 27, 1958; parents, Ermon and Pauline (nee Harris) Walker; in-laws, Sanford and Ollie Lawson; daughter, Tami Spradlin; brother-in-law, Thomas Lawson; and granddaughter, Morgan Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1375 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44114.
