Funeral Mass for Robert M. “Robby” Bartel, 32, of Wickliffe, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor.
Robby passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at his residence.
Born April 13, 1989, in Painesville, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Robby was a brewmaster. He loved beer and traveled all around the country visiting breweries. He also had lots of friends and enjoyed playing video games.
Mr. Bartel had volunteered at AmeriCorp for nine months and had recently left his job at Lubrizol. He was currently attending school to pursue a career in computers.
Robby was the beloved son of Timothy J. and Karen L. (nee Poling) Bartel; cherished brother of Joseph R. Bartel; and the nephew, cousin and friend of many.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Doris Poling; and paternal grandparents, Harry and Betty Bartel.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
