Obituary for Raymond Daniel "Dan" Volpone
Raymond Daniel “Dan” Volpne, 55, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
He was born Dec. 24, 1967, in Geneva.
Dan loved music, riding his motorcycle, animals, nature and hanging out with friends. He was also an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed going to car shows and drinking the “Silver Bullet,” Coors Light.
Dan was the beloved husband of Tami L. (nee Dinning) Volpone; stepfather of Magan J. (Michael) Harris and Dominic A. (Victoria) DePasquale; cherished grandfather of Maylea, Maverick, Shaun, Killian and Haelynn; son-in-law of Christopher (Kathy) Dinning; and the nephew and cousin of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Louise (nee Tarantino) Volpone; and mother-in-law, Linda (nee Murphy) Bidlingmyer.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Garden in Kingsville.
