Obituary for Pero "Ciro" Bartulovic

Pero “Ciro” Bartulovic, age 74, of Mentor, passed away peacefully Dec. 11, 2020, with his beloved wife and children by his side.
He was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Kresevo, Bosnia to Anton and Matija (nee Milicevic) Bartulovic.
Ciro, a patriarch, was a loving, caring and devoted husband, father “Tata” and grandfather “Dedo.” His faith and family were the two most important things in his life and he left the world surrounded by both. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy and spending time watching their sports was one of his favorite activities.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mara; children, Marko (Anita), Lucy (John), David (Tanja) and Danny (Lexi); grandchildren, Gabriella, Emilio, Alana, Gianni, Sebastian and Gianluka; brother, Josip (Luca) Bartulovic; sister, Anda (Anto) Maric, Anka (Marko) Maric and Ivka Bartulovic; and many nieces and nephews.
Ciro was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Matija Bartulovic; brothers, Marko and Vlado Bartulovic; and granddaughter, Caitlin Bartulovic.
The family invites friends to celebrate Ciro’s life from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Rout 2), in Mentor, OH 44060. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at St. Paul’s Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th St., Cleveland, OH 44103. (Family has requested that everyone PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.) His final resting place will be All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Rd., Chardon, OH 44024.
