Obituary for Patrick Allen Langdon

Patrick Allen Langdon, 52, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 20, 1969, in Euclid, he had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County 20 years ago.
Patrick was the founder of “Talk Back Fans,” was affiliated with the Softball Hall of Fame, was a speaker to many yet such a good listener, and loved Cleveland sports.
He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Cheryl (nee Zajc) Langdon; loving father of Brandon P. Langdon and Colin M. Langdon, both of Mentor; dear son of Marjorie Ann (nee Dirk) Langdon; cherished brother of Steve Langdon, Sharon (Steve) Michaels, Michael Langdon and Paul Langdon; brother-in-law of Cathy Gerland, Christina Zajc, John (Catherine) Zajc, Jim (Juli) Zajc and Jim Balazs; and the nephew, cousin, uncle, friend and coach of many.
Patrick was preceded in death by his dear father, John J. “Buddy” Langdon; brother, John Langdon; in-laws, John and Joan Zajc; and sisters-in-law, Annie Langdon and Cyndi Balazs.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life at 7:30 p.m.
