Patricia C. (nee Basco) 87, of Chesterland, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, at Maplewood Assisted Living, in Chardon.
Born Aug. 2, 1935, in Cleveland.
Patricia enjoyed flowers and designing.
She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Raymond E. Canale; loving mother of Joanne (Dusty) Rhodes, Dennis Simmers, Michelle Mangano, Colleen (Rick) Reilly, Ronnie Canale, Ray (Kathy) Canale, Mary (S. J.) Sanders and daughter-in-law Lynn Canale; cherished grandmother of Dusty Jr., Christina, Cynthia, Stacie, Chrissy, Mark, Bobby, Nicole, Jennifer, Amy, Heather, Lauren, Tony, Jill, Ashlee, Raymie, Randy, Jake, Phoenix; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Helen (nee Legnisky) Basco; sons Craig Simmers and Eddy Canale; and sister Corrine Waters.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Abbey of Willoughby, 38001 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Memorial service, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
