Obituary for Michael F Lynch
Michael F. Lynch, 71, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Born June 2, 1949, in McKeesrock, Pa., he had been a resident of Mentor for 27 years.
Mike had worked at Westinghouse in Pennsylvania, ABB in Wickliffe, and Pepperle and Fucs in Twinsburg. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Patricia M. (nee Zepka) Lynch; loving father of Erin M. (Kyle) Wefing; cherished grandfather of Danica and Chase; dear brother of Dan (Judy) Lynch; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucille (nee Schubert) Lynch; and brother, Tom (Terry, dec.) Lynch.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his name to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital or the Seidman Cancer Center.
