Obituary for Michael George Luebking

Michael G. Luebking, 67, of Eastlake, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at UH Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
Born June 27, 1955, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 67 years.
Michael was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, an avid hunter and gun enthusiast. He loved his granddaughter more than anything!
Mr. Luebking had worked at Morton Salt for 25 years and was part of their Safety Committee.
He was the loving father of Shannon (Joe) Luebking; cherished grandfather of Savannah, Delaney and Tana; dear brother of Carl (Sherry) Luebking, Kim Overberger and Vicky Christopher; uncle of many; and best friend of Mary (Jerry) Sines. He also leaves his former wife, Karen (Jeff) Cain.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William Luebking and Ruth (nee Morris) Theiss; brother-in-law, Chuck Overberger; and nephew, Steven Luebking.
Family will receive 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 7:30 p.m.
