Obituary for Mary I Zavatchen
Mary I. Zavatchen (nee Coyne), age 80, passed away peacefully, among family, Monday, March 14, 2022, after a full life.
She was born Aug. 26, 1941, in Cleveland and was a graduate of Regina High School, Class of '59.
Mary was the beloved wife of 54 years to Joe; loving mother of Joe (Joyce Roth), Nancy Stinson (Rob), Tommy (Erika Honigman), and Maggie Fadrowski (Walter); proud grandmother of Mallory, Angelina, Lydia, TJ, Eli, Owen, Ben, Kris, and Mary; and a devoted aunt, dear cousin, and beloved friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bridget and Martin Coyne; and brothers, Jim and Martin “Frank” (Michale Murphy).
Relatives and friends are invited to meet from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Zeis-McGreevey, 16105 Detroit Road Lakewood. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at St. Mark’s Church, 15724 Montrose Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
