Obituary for Mary E Phillips
Mary E. (nee Hicks) Phillips, 74, of Willoughby, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at UH TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
She was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Hot Springs, Va.
Family was very important to her and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
Mary was the beloved wife of 50 years to Joe Phillips; loving mother of Liz (Kevin), and Jen (Motoo); cherished grandmother of Amethyst, Taylor and Miles; dear sister of Jim (Betty), Dot and Shirley; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerone and Elizabeth (nee Andrews) Hicks.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will follow at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1375 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44114.
