Obituary for Mary Majetich
Mary (nee Lucovich) Majetich, 90, of Newbury, passed away peacefully March 29, 2023.
She was born Oct. 30. 1932, in West Winfield, Pa., where she grew up and married.
Mary moved to Newbury in 1964, and had been a member of St. Helen’s Church since 1964. Mary loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed getting together with her Red Hat Society women and going polka dancing with her husband, Bill.
She is survived by her husband, William Majetich; daughters, Barb (Bob) Strader and Jean (Tony) Quinn; son, William Jr. (Kelly); grandchildren, Brad, Michael, Kevin and Keith; great-grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Megan, Emma, Harrison and Oliver; and brother, Frank Lucovich.
Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby, Liz, Rose, Marian, twin sister-Anny, Joe, John and Pete.
A private funeral Mass and service will be held May 13, 2023, at St. Helen’s Church in Newbury.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Helen Church.
