Obituary for Marion A Wylie

“Together Again”
Funeral Mass for Marion A. (nee Phillips) Wylie, 86, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Father Tom Johns will officiate.
Marion passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Dec. 23, 1934, in Chicago, Ill., she had lived in Northern Illinois before moving to Lake County 38 years ago.
Marion enjoyed traveling, camping, cruising and shopping. She had retired from McDonald’s in Mentor-on-the-Lake in 2000, where she had made many close friends.
She was the loving mother of Susan H. (Daniel) Sheehan; cherished grandmother of Samuel (Racheal) Wylie, Angela J. (Jason) Mattox, Melissa (Ryan) Carlson, Brian (Bonnie) Sheehan, and Kevin (Nichole) Sheehan; and great-grandmother of nine.
Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond M. Wylie in 2019; son, Thomas G. (Vicky, dec.) Wylie; parents, Cletis J. and Helen (nee Boehing) Phillips; and siblings, William (Loraine, dec.) Phillips, Robert Phillips and Betty Phillips.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
