Obituary

Mario Joseph Corrao, 26, of Eastlake, passed away Nov. 7, 2020, at his residence.
Born April 25, 1994, in Painesville, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Mario was silly, goofy, caring, was a caregiver, had a big heart, and his smile was amazing. You felt his presence when he walked into the room. He loved the Bronx Tale movie and Cleveland sports. Mario loved everybody and everybody loved him. He had many, many friends.
He was the beloved son of Michael J. Corrao of Florida and Kelli A. (Dennis) Yeckley of Euclid; dear brother of Michael T. Corrao, Kevin A. Corrao, Sebastian Corrao and Nicholas Corrao; nephew of Rita (Phil) Hall-Blakemore, Michelle (Dino) Tricomi-Blakemore, Kim (Mike) Mueller, Maria Corrao, and Carmen Corrao; grandson of Margaret Yafanaro-Blakemore; and the cousin of many.
Mario was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Blakemore, Michael Corrao and Rita Valerio; uncles, Thomas Blakemore Jr. and Anthony Blakemore; aunt, Michelle Corrao; and cousin, Carmen Blakemore.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a funeral service to follow at 1:15 p.m. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made in care of the family.
