Obituary for Marilyn Ruth Osborne
Funeral Mass for Marilyn Ruth (nee Meier) Osborne, 75, of Chardon, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35711 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Father Kevin Liebhardt will officiate the Mass.
Marilyn passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at Ohman Family Living at Blossom in Huntsburg Township.
Born Feb. 19, 1947, in Cleveland, she had lived in Eastlake from 1968 until moving to Geauga County a year and a half ago.
She loved arts and crafts, her religion was her passion and she dearly loved her grandchildren.
Marilyn was the loving mother of Christine A. (Jay) McCormick of Rome, Ohio, Scott M. Osborne (Deanne Wodecki) of Chagrin Falls and Daniel M. Osborne of Chagrin Falls; cherished grandmother of Andrew, Steven, Morgan, Edward, Kaitlyn, Sammie, Jacob, Olivia, Ellexa and Ryleigh; great-grandmother of Molly, Marshall, Maxwell, Hayden and Harrison; and the dear aunt of Laura, Eddie, Jeff, Sue, Michelle and Karen.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Osborne; parents, Adolf Edward and Jennie (nee Koenig) Meier; and siblings, Alfred and Ronald Meier.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
