Funeral Mass for Luka Paradzik, 77, of Eastlake and Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35711 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Father Kevin Liebhardt will officiate.
Luka passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Nov. 9, 1944, in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, he had lived in Croatia before moving to the United States 55 years ago.
He loved Jesus Christ, his wife, Marija and his children. Luka emphasized the importance of forgiveness as well as the need to fight for what is right in this world.
Mr. Paradzik worked as a machinist in Cleveland for 35 years as a member of the Union of Auto Workers (UAW).
He was the loving father of Ana Maria of Eastlake and David Luka of Madison, Ga.; and dear brother of Barbara.
Luka was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marija (nee Vrbanic) Paradzik.
Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass Saturday at church.
