Obituary for Lucy Tullio Brodnik

Funeral Mass for Lucy Tullio Brodnik, 90, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland. Father Marty Polito will officiate the Mass.
Lucy passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Montefiore Home in Beachwood.
Born Dec. 13, 1930, in Cleveland, she had lived in Collinwood, Euclid and Willowick before moving to Willoughby.
Lucy was a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Cleveland. She enjoyed arts and crafts, singing and crocheting.
She was the loving mother of Michael C. Paponetti, Richard A. (Rose) Paponetti, Anthony W. (Lora) Paponetti, and Mary Lou (Joseph) Lamb; cherished grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of eight; sister of Anna Marie (Jack) Riendeau and Anna Betti; sister-in-law of Glenda Tullio; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Lucy was preceded in death by three beloved husbands, Michael Dan Paponetti, Frank Brodnik and Frank Recko; sons, Carmen A. Paponetti and James Paponetti; parents, Michael and Mary (nee Timperio) Tullio; and siblings, Mike Tullio, John (Pat, dec.) Zaffo, Sonny (Yolanda, dec.) Zaffo, and Jean (Chuck, dec.) Bryson; and brother-in-law, Joe Betti.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
