Obituary for Lorraine L Couture
Lorraine L. (nee McCoy) Couture, 88, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, at The Winfield at Richmond Heights.
Born July 18, 1934, in Euclid, she had lived in Willoughby and Kirtland before moving to Mentor Headlands 60 years ago.
Lorraine loved bingo and enjoyed playing at the Fairport Harbor Senior Center. She also enjoyed bowling on the Ohio Rubber Company Bowling League and was a member of the Headlands Community Center.
She was the loving mother of Russell (Robin) Couture, Lore (Carl) Robinson and Terri (Scott) Mullen; cherished grandmother of Christina, Nickie, Tim, Robert, Kristina, Mark, Destinie, Kenny, David, Jimmie, Tabatha, Scott and Jodi; great-grandmother of Ryan, Christopher, Rachel, Daniel, Michael, Samantha, Hayley, Peyton, Brooke, Chloe, Riley, Nathan, Dane, Dakota, Adrianna, Maddy, Owen and Alex; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmie N. Couture on March 16, 2004; son, Jerry (Cindy, dec.) Welchan; parents, Leroy A. and Eva J. (nee Endahl) McCoy; and siblings, Nancy Oliveri, Virginia Murphy and Elizabeth Brown.
Services will be held at a later date.
