Obituary for Lauren Cornelison

Lauren (nee Pavlovic) Cornelison, age 31, passed away April 13, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born June 19, 1989, in Painesville to Matthew and Marie Pavlovic.
Lauren was a woman dedicated to her faith and living in a way to see God’s kingdom realized on earth. She was a tremendously giving person and loved lavishing gifts and time on her family, friends, and especially people experiencing hardships. She always was thinking of others, and she did her best to help anywhere there was need. Lauren’s kind heart and giving nature made her a superb nurse to her patients as well as an empathetic patient when she was on the receiving end of care. Her legacy of giving can be seen in the myriad organizations that she has supported and helped build, including the Project Outrun Sibling Fund.
Lauren also had a spirit of adventure and wonder. She traveled all over the world doing missions in Jamaica and India, and experiencing foreign countries like Japan and Scotland. Lauren loved traveling and living life with her friends, church groups, family, and especially Cameron who always planned getaways during their time together.
Lauren fervently desired not only to love others but to be loved. She was surrounded by family and friends who loved and supported her through the many ups and downs of her medical journey. Even though cancer weakened her body, she remained dedicated to making her world a better place in any way she was able. She would want the people who love her to continue her mission: give generously, travel adventurously, and love unconditionally. In inhabiting these values, you will honor Lauren's life as you live yours.
Lauren is survived by her husband, Cameron Cornelison; parents, Matthew and Marie (nee Roach) Pavlovic; and siblings, Shannon (Brian) Edwards and Shino Yoshimoto. She was also the niece and cousin of many.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. A funeral service will be held 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby.
