Obituary for Laura M Disbro
Mass of Christian Burial for Laura M. (nee Battista) (Lewis) Disbro, 61, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 10205 Lorain Ave., Cleveland.
Laura passed away suddenly May 7, 2023, at her home.
Born July 4, 1961, at Lake County Memorial Hospital in Painesville, she had lived the majority of her life in Lake County.
She was the loving mother of Jason Robert Lewis of Cleveland and Joshua Ryan Lewis of Willoughby; stepmother of Donna Rae Disbro; dear sister of Antonia (Dan) Sturtz of Fremont, Ind., and Lea (Robert) Smith of Madison; cherished aunt of Michelle (Jonathan) Baker of Angola, Ind., Adam (Crissy) Lewis of Coldwater, Mich., Nina Koreen of Madison and Hilary Koreen of Madison; and great-aunt of Phoenix, Solomon, Elise, Savanah, Iris, Ryker and Ollie.
Laura was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Disbro; and parents, Anthony Pasquale Battista and Jeanine Marie (nee Nielsen) (Battista) Sturdevant.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the Mass. All are invited to attend a luncheon immediately following the Mass in the St. Ignatius of Antioch Elementary School gymnasium. Interment will take place after cremation and Laura will be laid to rest with her father and stepmother, Anthony P. and Marlene Battista at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
