Obituary for Kevin J Keenan

Kevin J. Keenan, 56, of Cleveland Heights, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at University Hospital of Cleveland.
He was born Jan. 29, 1964, in Cleveland.
Kevin was a member of the Irish-American Club East Side Inc. in Euclid, where he was active with the Jack McDonough Fife and Drum Corp., and taught the Fife to members of the club. He was also an active member of the West Side Irish-American Club, where he was also active with their Colonial Boys Fife and Drum Corp. Kevin enjoyed playing softball and played with the Sports Spot team in Cleveland Heights. He loved frequenting local pubs with the Keenan brothers. Family was always his first love.
Kevin was the loving brother of Mary Johnson, Patrick J. Keenan, Thomas E. (Marty) Keenan, Theresa K. (David) Male, and Michael J. (Peggy) Keenan; dear uncle of Aran, Beckie, Kevin A., Shana J., Christopher L., Meagan M., Joseph G., Riley T. and Daniel; and great-uncle of Elizabeth, Addison, Michael, Megan and Katie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph P., and Mary “Mae” (nee Moore) Keenan; and brother-in-law, Michael Johnson.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow the service at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
