Obituary for Kelvyn H "Scott" Smith
Kelvyn H. "Scott" Smith, 81, of Mentor, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 8, 1941, in Oxford, England, he had been a resident of Lake County for 20 years.
Kelvyn enjoyed building cars, loved muscle cars, hot rods and drag racing.
He was the loving father of Shawn H. Smith and Christine H. (Charles) Clark; and cherished grandfather of Andrew H. Clark and Charles H. Clark.
Kelvyn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary T. (nee Marra) Smith in 2008; and parents, Harold and Isabell (nee Brooks) Smith.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 29, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, where a service will take place 9 a.m. Saturday, July 30. Burial will follow the service at Mentor Cemetery.
