Obituary for Kelly R Thompson
Kelly R. (nee Leffingwell) Thompson, 51, of Eastlake, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Born April 25, 1969, in Willoughby, she was an “Army brat” and had grown up all over the country in her early years. She then became a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Kelly loved watching movies and TV shows, cooking, horses, nature and was a walking enthusiast. Her greatest achievement was her family and the unconditional love she had for them.
She was the former wife of Lawrence Thompson; loving mother of Kristin Lyons, Vincent Orlando, Samantha Orlando, Amanda Orlando (Joseph Keichel), and Tristin Orlando (Indica Ponn); cherished grandmother of Derrick, Jayden, Avery, and Branson; cousin of Shannon (Randy) Wente; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Candace (nee Yoger) Leffingwell; and brother, Paul Leffingwell.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
