Graveside services for Katherine L. (Provance) Martin, 85, of Painesville, will be at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road in Seville. (*Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.)
Katherine passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence in Painesville.
She was born September 2, 1937, in Fayette County, Pa.
Katherine was a caregiver for many years, having worked 27 years at assisted living homes and for her family.
Katherine was the loving mother of Mark Jacobs and Debra (Shawn) Davis; cherished grandmother of Tammy, Brandy, Marky, Dwayne, Amber, Lance, Catheann and Donald; sister of Audrey (Donald) Gilkerson; great-grandmother of many; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary A. Martin, in 2017; son, Charles Jacobs; parents, Edward E. and Viola G. (nee Bierer) Provance; brother, Edward (Irene, dec.) Provance and sister, Marcella (John, dec.) Silvaroli.
