Obituary for John Patrick Quinlan

Funeral Mass for John Patrick Quinlan, 77, of Cleveland, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Wendelin Church, 2281 Columbus Road, Cleveland, OH 44113. Father Robert Kropac will officiate.
John passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at his residence.
Born April 2, 1944, in Cleveland, he had lived in Novelty for 40 years before moving to the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland five years ago.
John was proud of his Irish heritage, was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, loved to laugh and was the life of the party, but most of all he loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Elaine (nee Rogish) Quinlan for 54 years; loving father of John J. (Connie) Quinlan of Rochester, N.Y., Michael P. (Mary Jo) Quinlan of Bainbridge, Patrick J. Quinlan of Willoughby and Colleen Q. (Matt) Berges of Cleveland; cherished grandfather of Kelsey, Abby, Maddie, Connor, Kyle, Riley, Colin and Mackenzie Quinlan and Rubee, Jaye and Bo Berges; dear brother of Timothy Quinlan; and friend of many.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (nee Boyle) Quinlan; and sisters, Veronica, Mary Therese and Kathleen.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at church.
