Obituary for John A Avery

John A. Avery, 57, of Wickliffe, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at his residence.
Born Jan. 29, 1964, in Willoughby, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Eastlake before moving to Wickliffe in 2006.
John was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and caring friend to many. His passions were making people laugh, traveling, camping in his RV with his dogs, watching and tailgating at Browns games, cruising around in his Camaro to explore new places, especially places to eat.
He had worked for the Mastrangelo Heating for the past 20 years.
John was the beloved husband of Alayne M. (nee Whaley) Avery; loving father of Anthony J. (Chelsie) Avery of Willoughby and Megan (David) Evans of Glendale, Ariz.; dear son of Mary (nee Moody) Avery; brother of Paul (Rhoneila) Avery of San Jacinto, Calif., and Alan (Denise) Avery of Eastlake; and uncle of Jordyn, Hannah, Rachel, Sarah and Emily Avery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony W. Avery.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service to be held 6:30 p.m.
